I just updated a lot of the posts by matching the author up with the registered username (so you now get a link to the user's profile and the status of the post's author is no longer "Guest"). I may have mismatched a couple in the process (this only applies to people who posted things while not logged in but have previously or since registered) so let me know if there's a problem.
In a nutshell, it's best if you register here and then login and then post (and you can set it so that you're automatically logged in every time you come to the bulletin board) if you plan to post more than once, which is probably likely.
But, you still DON'T NEED to register in, or login to, this Bulletin Board to post. I'll probably do this update thing every once-in-a-while.
Eventually we will tie in the "Member" info from the main site into the user info for this and the chat system (so it's all in one place) but for now (at least until the fall) there are two registrations.
